This project consists of furnishing and installing a new city production well for the city of Avondale. This includes a new 200 HP pump controlled by a SCADA control system with an integrated wireless communication system. Included with this project is an automated chlorine generation unit which supplies 3.5 PPM of chlorinated water to a 20" force main. To house the chlorine equipment, a chlorine building will be constructed from laminated fiberglass panels. A desander unit is to be installed prior to the water contacting the chlorine. Included in this project is a complete electrical system, including transformer starter and control units, underground piping, a wet well vault, a decorative CMU wall and gates with a security alarm system.
