The project consists of the following work activities; At the Yuma WPCF, install a temporary 7000 GPM sewage bypass system and remove and replace four (4) slide gates in the primary clairifier splitter box. Remove and replace the existing motor control systems for primary clairifier MCC 4 and MCC 4A including related conduit and wiring. Furnish and install a new Motor Control Center MCC 3 in a separate control enclosure for the existing Aerobic Digesters/Flotation Units, including all related conduit and wiring.

At the Avenue C Lift Station provide a 5000 GPM temporary sewage bypass system and provide a new cast-in-place concrete valve vault, including piping, valves, access doors, flow meter vault and instrumentation. Additional work includes removal and replacement of existing electrical gear, including a new motor control center, variable frequency drives and a new stand-by generator system.
