Principal features of the work included the excavation and grading to construct one new PVC lined earthen sewage lagoon, the installation of approximately 61,000 sf of Bentomat ST pond lining and 2,350 SY of Enkamat 720 pond lining, the installation of approximately 400 lf of 8-inch SDR-17 HDPE lagoon piping, the installation of two new 15,350 gallon fiberglass septic tanks, the installation of two 100 x 24-inch diameter jack and bore railroad and highway crossings, the installation of approximately 6200 lf of 8-inch, 6-inch, and 4-inch PVC gravity sewer, and the installation of 22 ea. 4-foot diameter pre-cast concrete manholes. Additional work includes connections of existing homes and offices to the new sewer system, the abandonment of the existing sewer system including manholes, and providing the services of an outside professional engineering firm for the purpose of providing the project owner with an independent certification status of project completion for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, (ADEQ).
