This project involves the construction of a 100,000 gallon per day wastewater treatment facility at an existing carbon recycling facility in Parker, Arizona. The purpose of the improvements is to achieve process effluent discharge metals concentration limits within EPA Regulatory limits.
The scope of work involves the demolition of an existing reinforced concrete equipment slab, the installation of a thickened reinforced concrete equipment slab, the installation of approximately $500,000.00 worth of owner-furnished wastewater treatment equipment to include:
- One 1,000 gallon capacity First Stage Reaction System
- One 6,600 gallon TotalTreat Continuous Precipitation System
- One Pneumatic-Powered Sludge Transfer Pump
- One 850 gallon capacity Effluent Clearwell
- Two Electric-Driven Effluent Clearwell Transfer Pumps
- Two 1,340 gallon capacity Sludge Age Chambers
- Two 72-inch diameter Multimedia Filter Vessels
- One 5,000 gallon capacity Backwash Water Holding Equalization Tank
- One Electric-Driven Filter Backwash Water Transfer Pump System
- One 5,000 gallon capacity Sludge Thickener Tank
- One Horizontal Plate and Frame Filter Press
- One series 100 Computer Controls System
In addition to the installation of the above-referenced Owner-Furnished equipment, the scope of work involved the installation of all Contractor-furnished process piping and interconnections to existing systems, including electrical and control systems.
